The Fazer8 arrived in 2010 as the half-faired sibling of the naked FZ8, built around a new 779 cc four-cylinder engine in an aluminium frame. Yamaha pitched the capacity between 600 supersport and 1000 superbike classes, tuned for strong low and midrange torque. The front cowl and screen add wind and weather protection for road use, with ABS optional.
